How to Pass the Texas Real Estate Agents License Exam in 2021

Allied Real Estate Schools is one of the oldest online real estate license schools in Texas. Just like any other high quality online real estate license school, they offer live student support, give access to instructors, and fulfill all Texas real estate license training requirements. Personally, I found the course materials at Allied Real Estate Schools to be a bit boring and tedious. They dont have much in the way of videos, interactive features, or even images. For the most part, this is just a text-based course.

Another issue with Allied Real Estate Schools is their student pass rate. They are at the lower end of the spectrum and under the Texas real estate school passing rate average. As of 2019, less than 53% of students that take this course pass their Texas online real estate license exam on the first try. I think the lower pass rate is probably due to the limited content delivery methods as it is just plain text throughout the entire course.

One advantage of Allied Real Estate Schools is their price. This is one of the cheapest online real estate license schools in Texas. While prices will change sometimes, typically you can expect to spend less than $400 on the course, even with their highest packages. So while they may not have the highest student pass rate, this could be a good budget option, particularly if youre good at self-study.

Each Candidate will leave the test center with their official scores in hand.

What Is Trec’s ‘proctor Requirement’

TREC requires that all Final Exams for Pre-license coursework and SAE coursework be proctored, or monitored by a non-related person. Every provider must seek approval individually, and VanEd’s proctor method is one of the easiest and most flexible.

There are two options when selecting a proctor:

  • Pre-approved Proctor , Librarian, or member of the Clergy

  • Third Parties may obtain approval by filling out the Proctor Approval form and sending a signed copy of that into VanEd with a copy of a valid government form of I.D. . The following are examples of acceptable third party proctors:

  • Employees at official testing or learning/tutoring centers
  • Librarians at a school, university, or public library
  • College or university administrators, faculty, or academic advisors
  • Clergy who are affiliated with a specific temple, synagogue, mosque, or church
  • Educational officers of a military installation or correctional facility.
  • * Please note that you may not take the Final until the Provider has approved your Proctor.

All proctors must be present when you take the Final Exam for each of the six courses in Pre-License and any SAE course. A signed Proctor and Student Affidavit must be filled out and sent to VanEd after you’ve passed the Final Exam.

Once the Affidavits have been approved, your Certificate of Completion will be released.
