Agile Development Terms & Terminologies
Acceptance Testing An acceptance test is a formal description of the behaviour of a software product, generally expressed as an example or a usage scenario. Several different notations and approaches have been proposed for such examples or scenarios. In many cases the aim is that it should be possible to automate the execution of such tests by a software tool, either ad-hoc to the development team or off the shelf. Affinity Diagram An affinity diagram is a method used to organize many ideas into groups with common themes or relationships. Affinity diagrams are tools for analysing large amounts of data and discovering relationships that allow a design direction to be established based on the associations. Agile C4Model C4 Model documents the architecture of a software system, by showing multiple points of view that explain the decomposition of a system into containers and components, the relationship between these elements, and, where appropriate, the relation with its users. The viewpoints are organized according to their hierarchical level: Context Diagrams, Container Diagrams, Component Diagrams, Code Diagrams. Anti-Pattern Antipatterns are common solutions to common problems where the solution is ineffective and may result in undesired consequences. An antipattern is different from bad practice under certain circumstances. Burn Up Charts

Preparing For The Certified Scrummaster Or Csm Test
Once you have the basics down, its time to start preparing for the exam itself.
Take a deep breath, youve got this!
First off, the CSM test is what I like to think of as a test of learning not a test for knowledge.
- A test for knowledge is testing you against the entire body of knowledge related to what you are being certified for. Examples are Project Management Professional and Professional Engineer .
- A test of learning is testing you against what you have just been taught. I like to call it a were you paying attention test. Examples of this are the pop quizzes teachers gave us at the end of class to see if we had been paying attention.
As a Test of Learning, the CSM is only confirming what you learned from taking your CSM class and reading the Scrum Guide. In other words, if you paid attention during your two-day Certified ScrumMaster Course, you should have no problem passing the CSM test.
