America’s Best Is America At It’s Best

America

I went in with the understanding I was to have a free exam , and was charged 50.00 plus an additional 20.00, which I previously agreed to under the understanding of the “free exam.” I found this out only after finding a frame that matched my requirements . All included, I would’ve paid almost 400.00, with the under-discussed exam.I paid my 70.00 and left. The bait-and-switch tactics employed to get people in the door feel deceptive to customers, so a change is needed. I cannot fathom how many people needing glasses are pressured into paying a bill they cannot afford, or the blunt abuse of insurance to justify the charges. I went down the street and paid 100.00 less for virtually the same glasses, factoring in the 70.00 exam.Capitalism is terrifyingly efficient at stripping people of their money. Do research before stepping into this business.

Eye Exam Prices

An eye doctor is a person who specializes in the examination, treatment, and care of the eyes. The term eye doctor can refer to either an ophthalmologist or an optometrist. Specialized equipment is needed to perform a professional eye examination and can only be conducted by a doctor who has the training and education to fully evaluate your vision and eye health. Do not confuse an eye exam with a vision screening, which is not typically conducted by an eye care professional and is usually only a measure of central visual acuity.
